ClickUp

Tasks, docs, and goals in one workspace.

ClickUp is a workspace for tasks, docs, and goals. The Free Forever plan includes unlimited tasks and unlimited members, with limits on storage and on how the workspace is structured. Five spaces are included on Free. Unlimited removes that cap.

ClickUp’s pricing page, checked October 15, 2026, lists Unlimited at $7 per user per month billed yearly, or $10 billed monthly. Business is $12 per user per month billed yearly, or $19 billed monthly. Enterprise is sold through sales. The page marks AI features as compatible and says free AI usage has limits. It does not print a separate AI price, so none is listed here.

monday.com is the other general board tool in the directory. Linear is narrower and aimed at software teams. Notion is the better pick when the work product is a document rather than a task.

Pros

  • A free plan with unlimited tasks and unlimited members
  • Unlimited publishes both the yearly and monthly rates
  • Docs, boards, and goals sit in the same workspace

Cons

  • The free plan caps storage, spaces, and several views
  • AI usage on the listed plans is limited, and the add-on price was not shown
  • The product is broad, so a simple task list can feel crowded
